Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas) told reporters on Nov. 9 that there are many issues around which House Republicans are not united, and that if the situation continues, “we won’t keep the house.”
It’s important, Mr. Nehls said, that the Conference get behind Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and help him, given the “soup sandwich” or “mission impossible” bestowed upon him to date.
