Things went from bad to worse at Yorkshire County Cricket Club Friday. Two Yorkshire board members and Club Chairman Roger Hutton resigned over the club’s response to racism against former player Azeem Rafiq. Hutton said the club “should have recognised at the time the serious allegations of racism.” Rafiq made the claims in 2020. The fallout from the situation is shaking the cricket world and threatens the future of what is one of the world’s most famous cricket clubs.
