Why ‘Havana Syndrome’ Is Hard to Pin Down: Committee Member

Dr. Linda Birnbaum, former director of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, was appointed to a State Department-commissioned committee to investigate the mysterious “Havana Syndrome”—a neurological sickness that hit U.S. embassy workers in Cuba and elsewhere.

The committee concluded its work about a year ago, but their report never received a response. And theirs wasn’t the first study to be seemingly brushed aside either.
