Whistleblower: UN Hands Activists’ Names To China

A whistleblower is demanding an investigation into the United Nations. She accuses the organization of practices that endanger Chinese human rights activists and their families back home.

She says, in 2013, her boss at the U.N. Human Rights Office asked her to hand over the names of human rights activists to China.

The scandal comes amid growing global concerns about communist China’s increasing influence over U.N. agencies.
