A new study by Bankrate has found that homebuyers now need a six-figure salary to afford a median-priced home in 22 states and the District of Columbia. Four years ago, only 6 states and the District of Columbia required a six-figure salary to be able to afford a typical home. NTD’s Don Ma spoke with Bankrate analyst Jeff Ostrowski to discuss why homes are becoming less affordable, and what to expect in the near future.
