A new global university ranking says America is losing its dominance.

America’s universities fell again in world rankings and China’s universities rose, according to Times Higher Education, a major publication that ranks schools worldwide.

The United States is still ahead, with seven out of the top ten on the list being American universities. But, in the top 100, America used to have 43 schools back in 2018. Now, it’s dropped from 43 to 34.
