An unexpected bear crashed a birthday party in Connecticut.
Laura Durst was having a party for her 2-year-old son in West Hartford on Sept. 4, when a large black bear popped up behind a guest and sniffed her.
She says she panicked.
Half of the adults grabbed the children and took them into the garage.
Some guests got into their cars and honked their horns. Others continued yelling at the bear to scare it away, but the bear was unfazed.
It made its way to the dessert table and began snacking some more.
Durst says they ended up waiting it out in the house.
