UN to Boost Weather Forecasts in 75 Countries

Over the next decade, the UN’s World Meteorological Organization plans to boost weather monitoring in 75 small island nations and least-developed countries. The goal is to plug gaps in data collection so developing countries can improve their livelihoods and better prepare for severe weather events. Three UN organizations presented their plans at COP26 yesterday.
