Twitter suspended national press secretary Hogan Gidley’s account on Oct. 22, after he tweeted about receiving an absentee ballot for someone else named Daniel.

He told Fox News that Twitter blocked him because of the post. It said that he violated rules against posting misleading information.

“I, like many other Americans, received a ballot in the mail that was not meant for me. Twitter suspended my account for simply posting about it. This censorship is insanity. We must continue to expose and fight big tech’s clear bias against conservatives who speak the truth,” Gidley tweeted.

He deleted the tweet, and Twitter reinstated his account.

Twitter didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
