A Trump supporter was interviewed by an NTD reporter at a rally in Washington D.C. on Saturday:

“I actually have been prayerful for our whole nation and I heard that there was going to be prayer and worship and I knew that there would be protests.”

“But, I have heard and learned enough in my life that when we look to God, and our own hearts, and scripture talks about how many stories of when you worship and praise Him that He can work in our hearts. So that’s why I came today. I think I want to encourage myself and others, just biblically, and just even by our spirit, we know what is good and right when we have conversations with people, when we interact.”

“I think the Constitution was written with great thought. And again, throughout history, it’s been the history of humanity. It’s been on God’s word, the Hebrew Scriptures, the New Testament, based on Christianity.”

“We have a constitution that was with justice and liberty for all, it doesn’t mean license for all and it doesn’t mean an imbalance, it just means doing what is right.”

“I’m just thankful that we have a chance to trust God’s word, trust our Constitution, and trust that the world, America is the world, and so it’s the best of the world. And let’s live alongside of what we’ve been given.”
