Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday in a New York City courthouse said he believes the judge in his hush-money trial, Juan Merchan, should recuse himself as jury selection continues.
Claiming he is not guilty, President Trump called the trial a “disgrace” and demanded the man he called a “Trump-hating judge” step down from the proceedings.
The Republican candidate for president is accused of mishandling funds in conjunction with money paid to a woman with whom he allegedly had an affair in the past. President Trump has denied the charges.
