President Trump has been engaged in a true slugfest over Twitter and other media with Anthony Scaramucci, his former 2017 White House Communications Director.
The first round started last week when Scaramucci, Trump’s former White House staffer, criticized the president’s remarks that were apparently directed at the squad of four newly elected Democratic congresswomen, Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (Minn.), Rashida Tlaib (Mich.) and Ayanna Pressley (Mass.) to “go back” to the countries they came from.
Scaramucci posted to Twitter on Aug. 6: “Would @realDonaldTrump ever tell a white immigrant – whether 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th+ generation – to ‘go back to your country?’ No. That’s why the comments were racist and unacceptable.”
While speaking with MSNBC’s Chris Mathews last week, Scaramucci said: “This is not the right guy for America. I believe in the Republican party and Republican values, and we got to fix the party. So we need a new leader at the top of the ticket that can bring people together,” Yahoo News reported.
You are losing your fastball— very weak troll. Bullying is the most anti-American thing in our culture and it is emanating from the Oval Office. Many have called and are willing to work on a necessary replacement. Time to call in a good relief pitcher. @potus is lost. https://t.co/7fiFHbd7O6

He also criticized the president for his visit to the El Paso and Dayton shooting’s victims, calling it “a catastrophe for him, the administration, and it’s also a bad reflection on the country.”
Scaramucci, who supported the presidential campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama and was at a fundraiser for Barack Obama in 2008 and a national finance co-chair for Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign, wrote on Twitter prior to the 2016 election that he hoped Hillary Clinton would be the next president.
He turned Republican and joined the White House staff in 2017 as Trump’s Communications Director for 11 days. Scaramucci then had to step down because he had said some vulgar things on a hot mic while he thought he was talking off the record. He was a frequent FoxNews guest and is now a CNN commenter.
Trump fired back late Saturday night, Aug. 10, saying: “Anthony Scaramucci, who was quickly terminated (11 days) from a position that he was totally incapable of handling, now seems to do nothing but television as the all-time expert on ‘President Trump.”
Anthony Scaramucci, who was quickly terminated (11 days) from a position that he was totally incapable of handling, now seems to do nothing but television as the all time expert on “President Trump.” Like many other so-called television experts, he knows very little about me…..

He added that Scaramucci “knows very little about me other than the fact that this Administration has probably done more than any other Administration in its first 2 1/2 years of existence.”
“Anthony, who would do anything to come back in, should remember the only reason he is on TV, and it’s not for being the Mooch!” Trump said on Twitter on Aug. 11.
The president continued: “Scaramucci, who like so many others had nothing to do with my Election victory, is only upset that I didn’t want him back in the Administration (where he desperately wanted to be).” He continued, “Also, I seldom had time to return his many calls to me. He just wanted to be on TV!”

“He started attacking me personally because I started calling him out even more loudly and directly,” Scaramucci posted on Twitter. “It only got attention because most of my fellow Republicans are too scared to stand up to him in public even though in private they’re saying the same things as me,” said the mooch.
Trump’s press secretary Stephanie Grisham, referring to Scaramucci, said: “This is all so self-serving on his part, and the media plays right into it. It’s embarrassing to watch,” on Aug. 12, according to Bloomberg News,
