Former President Donald Trump met with Teamsters, one of America’s biggest unions, on Jan. 31 as he competes with President Joe Biden for the support of labor groups. President Biden will meet with United Auto Workers on Feb. 1 at a Detroit-area union hall. His trip to the battleground state of Michigan comes a week after the UAW endorsed President Biden for reelection.
