The father of a woman who was pregnant when she vanished has urged members of the public to come forward if they have any information.

Kierra Coles disappeared in October 2018 while wearing her work uniform. The 27-year-old U.S. Postal Service employee was due to give birth in April.

“I just want my baby to come home, along with my grandbaby that I never got to meet,” Joseph Coles, her father, told reporters at a press conference in Chicago this week, reported ABC.

Coles suggested his daughter was kidnapped and is being held at a vacant house but said police officers have exhausted leads. He then exhorted someone to come forward with fresh information.

“Somebody knows something. If you’ve got any information, please come forward. I’m the father and I will not be going anywhere no time soon,” he said.

“I will continue to keep looking. I will keep pushing this information until she is brought home safely to me.”

At another point, he said people could contact him on Facebook.

“As of right now, there aren’t any new updates. From my understanding, they have run against a brick wall. If anybody have any information concerning Ms. Kierra Coles to post, please reach out to the proper authorities and pass along information. If not, reach out to me directly, Joseph Coles on Facebook,” Coles said, according to CBS Chicago.

Family members previously said that Kierra Coles’s car was found after she vanished and that her cellphone and purse were inside.

The U.S. Postal Service and the missing woman’s family are offering over $46,000 as a reward for anyone who gives information leading to her being found.

Police previously said that foul play is suspected in the case.

Coles called in sick on the day she vanished. Video footage the same day showed her dressing in her uniform and leaving her apartment. Instead of getting into her car, she walked away on foot. Investigators later found her car locked with her cellphone inside.

“Calling out sick and leaving for work that day in uniform is quite out of the ordinary. Was she the one who made that phone call? We think there’s more to the story,” Mack Julion of the National Association of Letter Carriers told Fox 32.

The Chicago Police Department told ABC that the investigation into the disappearance of Kierra Coles is still ongoing and that no one is in custody.

Vera Giles Norris, founder of Missing Please Come Home, who has been working with the family of the missing woman, said other community members have been helping them as well.

“We have been demanding justice for nine months and the community is coming out. They are marching, they are sharing information and they are keeping Kierra Coles’s case open and active,” she said, reported the Chicago Sun-Times.

Anyone with information on Coles’s whereabouts should call detectives at 312-747-8274.
