You might have seen the videos circulating on social media of police in Australia, often in Melbourne, violently breaking up anti-lockdown protests or tackling people to the ground for not wearing a mask. Australia has been under some of the harshest lockdown measures anywhere in the world. And after 18 months, that started to boil over.
