A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Canada Wednesday morning on a highway just north of Toronto.
The single engine plane touched down on Highway 407, in Markham.
Police say the plane took off from a nearby airport in Buttonville and experienced problems soon after.
Two people were on board. Neither was injured. The plane did not strike any vehicles on the roadway and no one on the ground was hurt.
Several highway lanes had to be blocked off but traffic was still moving past slowly.
