Musician Mario Tacca couldn’t stop praising the artistic excellence of Shen Yun after watching the performance for the third time. He was pleasantly surprised every time.

“My wife Mary and I are both professional musicians, so we appreciate the artistic level, very high level,” said the accordionist, Mario Tacca. “We appreciate the musicians, the young musicians, every one of them. And just the whole production is just very moving and it carries wonderful messages, each story carries a message.”

“Each time we see it, it’s better and better,” he added.

“Without a word being said, the expression of dance, the joy, the happiness, the sadness, it all comes through to bring out the message that you’re sending with this,” said his wife, Mary Mancini. “Absolutely beautiful and unique. Musically speaking, the music is incredible and the way it’s done. It’s all really a combination of the eastern and western that I find to be really appealing. I think a lot of people do as well.”

Mancini is a vocal artist. She was deeply impressed with Shen Yun’s music, especially the percussion section.

“I think their artistic level is high, extremely high, the best,” she said about the whole production. “I’m very impressed with your percussion section. They have a lot of work there. There is a lot of percussions written for them and they do an incredible job. Just very professional very very very good. [It’s] very enjoyable.”

Tacca often performs and hosts master classes around the world, he said the performance gave him great inspiration.

“Peace and love that’s the message that we get from the show,” Tacca said. “Tonight, I was inspired by all the talent on stage from the musicians to the dancers. The dancing was phenomenal, just phenomenal.”

“I want to come back. It’s very inspiring. Very inspiring,” he added.
