Senators Investigate Cause for Border Influx, More Venezuelans Crossing

Venezuelans surpassed Guatemalans and Hondurans to become the second-largest nationality after Mexicans to cross the U.S. border illegally. Some GOP senators wrote a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas saying they want to investigate if the record-high overall number of illegal immigrants crossings the border is connected to sanctuary jurisdictions.
