Secure Border Required to Protect US Military Bases From Trespassing or Spying by Chinese Nationals: Analyst

A Chinese national confirmed to be an illegal immigrant was arrested last week after they snuck onto a Marine Corps base in California.

NTD spoke to Adam Savit, the director of the China Policy Initiative at the America First Policy Institute. He told NTD that while the trespasser may not be a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) operative, the Chinese regime can still use such individuals as leverage to get information on the U.S. military. Mr. Savit says there needs to be more security around the bases themselves to prevent intruders, but that the root of the problem lies in the unsecured Southern border through which many military-aged Chinese nationals are entering the country illegally.
