Wednesday evening on the Hill, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) held a press conference to strike Section 230 off the Communications Decency Act. The law offers internet companies protection from being sued for content they publish, so long as everyone retains the right to post to those platforms. But in recent years, not everyone has retained that right, and Youtube and other big tech companies have censored free speech under the guise of being “responsible” to the public. NTD asked Gohmert what about Section 230 has him most concerned.
