Prime Minister Boris Johnson suffers further blows after a double by-election defeat and the resignation of party chairman Oliver Dowden. The Liberal Democrats overturned a 24,000 Tory majority to win in Devon, while Labour reclaimed their red wall stronghold seat of Wakefield. Both opposition parties said the prime minister is out of touch and called for him to go.
