Someone in Australia won a lottery on Thursday night but have yet to claim their $55 million (US$43.4 million) prize. They may not even know they have the winning ticket.
As of yet, the Powerball organizers say that the unregistered winner—who comes from somewhere in Victoria—has yet to come forward to collect their winnings.
Okay, here’s the deal. Everyone retweet this tweet. And if I win the Powerball tonight, I’ll draw one of you at random from a hat & give you and a charity of your choosing each $250,000. Odds are insanely slim, but if it happens, it’ll be insanely badass.

Tatts spokeswoman Bronnie Spencer told news.com.au that they were waiting for the soon to be multi-millionaire to make contact and so they can begin the process of them claiming the prize money.
“With $55 million up for grabs, last night’s Powerball draw was one of the most hotly anticipated draws of recent years and one Victorian player won it all,” Spencer said.
“There are 55 million reasons why all Victorian players who had an entry in last night’s draw should check their ticket this morning.”
Last night's $55 million winning Powerball ticket was sold in Melbourne's northern suburbs. The winning entry, purchased at a Tatts outlet, was unregistered so the identity of the new multi-millionaire remains a mystery. #7News pic.twitter.com/MKIyauoBuA

If you live in Victoria, have got a lotto ticket and are yet to check if you’ve won, the life-changing numbers are—32, 7, 5, 34, 38, 11 and the Powerball number of 12.
There are 14 division two winners around Australia who win just over $86,000 each for picking the six non-Powerball numbers.
Last night’s lotto already matches the $55 million prize from 2017’s biggest lottery windfall which was won by a group of Queensland government workers, reported news.com.au.
Spencer gave advice to the unknown winner.
“If you discover you’re holding the division one winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process.”
