Over the summer, there has been a number of high-profile, random attacks in New York City. The most egregious of which occurred in June, when a 92-year-old woman was pushed to the ground in Manhattan. In another incident, a man was seen on camera punching a 78-year-old woman in the head in Brooklyn around the same time. A man also was seen knocking an 80-year-old man to the ground in a brazen robbery attempt in the Bronx also in June.
