The San Luis Obispo County Fire Department confirmed in a series of Twitter posts that a passenger bus crashed while carrying the road crew for country and gospel singer Josh Turner.

The Sept. 18 crash on Highway 46 in San Luis Obispo County leaves at least one person dead and seven others injured, according to reports.

The department confirmed on Twitter that Turner and his band are unhurt.

“Confirmed tour bus of the Josh Turner road crew was involved in this accident. Mr. Josh Turner and band were in different buses and not injured,” the department wrote.

The department also said two of the passengers have sustained major injuries and five had moderate injuries.

Authorities haven’t released the names of the victims and the cause of the accident at this time.

The bus was traveling eastbound on Highway 46 when it crashed in Shandon late Wednesday night.

Firefighters were at the scene for several hours to investigate and clean up, according to authorities.
