A hawk is on the mend after an accident with a car.
On Saturday, a driver in Virginia called the authorities to say a bird got caught in the car’s grill.
A Fairfax County animal protection officer responded and was able to remove the hawk from the vehicle.
It was then taken to a licensed wildlife rehab center for treatment.
