New York state lawmakers have agreed on a bill that would legalize recreational marijuana in the state as Gov. Andrew Cuomo voiced his support for the move, saying legalizing marijuana is a top priority for him. The proposed bill would add a 13 percent tax to retail cannabis sales. The measure will be voted on as early as next week, after it’s set to be introduced as a part of the state budget on April 1.
