The UK’s chief medical officers decided 12- to 15-year-olds should be offered a COVID-19 vaccine. They say they’re recommending the vaccine on “public health grounds” and after considering the effects on education.

No vaccine passes for England, the health secretary revealed. The prime minister is expected to discuss this on Tuesday, when it’s thought he will repeal powers considered no longer necessary in the Coronavirus Act.

Nightclubs and others in the hospitality sector say they can look to the future, with vaccine passports shelved for now.
