The United States Army is slashing 24,000 jobs, or around 5 percent of its forces. The job cuts will mostly come from positions that have not been filled.

Shein, a Chinese online retailer that’s become known for selling cheap clothing and accessories, is looking to list itself on two major stock exchanges. The company is coming under scrutiny because of concerns over how it does business—as well as its ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

French President Emmanuel Macron on Feb. 27 opened the door to the possibility of European nations sending troops to Ukraine, in comments met with a warning from the Kremlin. The announcement has also met with strong reactions internationally.
