The New York Times has for nearly six months been preparing a hit piece against Shen Yun Performing Arts, NTD’s sister media, The Epoch Times, has learned. New York-based Shen Yun tours the globe with eight companies performing simultaneously, with a mission to revive traditional Chinese culture through the medium of dance and music. It also shines a light on human rights abuses happening in today’s China, under the communist regime. Because of this, the company cannot perform inside China.
