New Tarantino Screens at Cannes Film Festival

Hollywood stardust was sprinkled on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival on May 20 for the world premiere of the new Quentin Tarantino movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”

It has been 25 years after pulp fiction.

This is how good stories are told. First, you need the right setting to get ambience. Second, an audience hungry for the story. And third, charismatic characters.

The new Tarantino movie featured at Cannes Film Festival. Its screening is one of the most awaited movies of the Festival.

“Once Upon a time in Hollywood” is a black comedy crime story set in 1969 Los Angeles. It tells the story of television-actor Rick Dalton and his stunt-double Cliff Booth as they make their way through a changing film industry.

On the red carpet, Tarantino, Pitt and Di Caprio met the festival-goers. There was a warm welcome for the American cast who cheered the public in return.

The cast also features Margot Robbie, Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning, Luke Perry, and Al Pacino.

Quentin Tarantino asked journalists before the premiere not to reveal any spoilers for the film.

The winner of the Palme d’Or will be announced on May 25th, before the closing ceremony of the Festival.
