My Pillow CEO Mike Lendell made an impromptu speech at a White House meeting involving several national business leaders, urging people to get back to their faith and read the Bible.

Lindell made his remarks at the Rose Garden news conference on Monday morning where many CEO’s of national industries attended to discuss how they could live up to what Trump described as their “patriotic duty” to do their part in warding off the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, commonly known as novel coronavirus, threat.

After the meeting, several CEOs were invited to address the assembled press from the podium.

“A friend of mine, Mike Lindell of My Pillow, boy, do you sell those pillows,” Trump said of Lindell, who was the first invited to do a say, continuing, “It’s unbelievable what you do,” Politico reported.

Lindell briefly spoke about how My Pillow started converting 75 percent of its production from pillows to manufacturing safety masks last week and that the company is currently ramping up from producing 10,000 masks per day to 50,000 per day.

After Lindell was done, he asked Trump whether he could make some “off-the-cuff” remarks, which Trump agreed to.

“God gave us grace on Nov. 8, 2016, to change the course we were on,” Lindell said, referring to the date Trump was elected president.

“God had been taken out of our schools and lives. A nation had turned its back on God, and I encourage you to use this time at home to get back in the Word. Read our Bibles and spend time with our families,” the My Pillow founder and CEO continued.

“Our president gave us so much hope where just a few short months ago we had the best economy, the lowest unemployment, and wages going up,” Lindell said. “It was amazing. With our great president, vice president, and this administration and all the great people in this country praying daily, we will get through this and get back to a place that’s stronger and safer than ever.”

After Lindell was finished, Trump took the stage and said he was taken by surprise, “I did not know he was going to do that,” Trump said. “But he is a friend of mine, and I do appreciate it,”

Lindell’s spontaneous action was the talk of the town on social media, with many praising his opinion.

“Michael Lindell is a private citizen entitled to his own opinion. He is also being downright heroic for working to manufacture more masks,” correspondent Philip Wegmann of RealClearNews wrote on Twitter.
