A 2-year-old Florida girl who has been missing since mid-February has been found, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.
“The child has been located. The child appears fine and is currently out with law enforcement officials in Starke, Florida,” the sheriff’s office said in an update on Monday. The update comes after authorities in Florida issued a missing child alert earlier on Monday and asked the public for help finding the toddler, Christine Martin, who was described as blonde, 2 feet tall, and weighing 50 pounds.
Christine was least seen in Waldo on Feb. 15, about two weeks before she was located. It was believed she may have been with Jennifer Goode, 26, and Robert Martin, 49. Goode was described as having brown hair, brown eyes, and standing around 5 feet 6 inches tall. Martin was described as having black hair, brown eyes, and standing around 5 feet 9 inches tall.
The pair were believed to be traveling to Starke in a black 2002 Toyota Camry with license plate GAHR82.
