Hundreds of Iraqi migrants, who have been camping in freezing forests on Belarus’s border with Europe, started flying back to Iraq Thursday. The Iraqi government has arranged for people who failed to cross into Poland, Lithuania, or Latvia to head home. This comes as European sanctions stop airlines flying into Belarus from the Middle Eastern countries from which most migrants arrived.
