A Aztec wind god temple was discovered in Mexico City. The temple was uncovered in Mexico City’s Historic Center. The temple dates back as far as 1481. It was discovered next to a temple dedicated to the rain god.
The discovery helps archaeologists map out the remains of the ceremonial part of the ancient Aztec city.
The Aztecs once ruled the area spanning central Mexico.
