Laws Need Updating to Protect Minors: Family

U.S. lawmakers met on Tuesday with the family who inspired a law that extends the maximum sentence for stalking convictions involving minors. The Zezzo family says there are still many gaps in the laws, and they’re calling for more to be done to protect children from predators—like the one who stalked their daughter Madison for 4 years, beginning when she was just 13 years old.
