Johnson, Sunak Reject Calls for Resignation

A Conservative peer has quit as justice minister over breaches of COVID-19 regulations in Downing Street. In a letter to the prime minister, Lord David Wolfson criticised the “official response” to “repeated rule-breaking”.

Despite heavy criticisms from opposition MPs, the Prime Minister and the Chancellor have both rejected calls to resign after being fined by police for attending lockdown parties at Number 10.
