A massive fire broke out at an oil refinery in Indonesia early Monday, injuring dozens of people and prompting an evacuation of hundreds of residents.
The huge plumes of black smoke could be seen from five kilometers away. According to the state-run Antara news agency, the Balongan Refinery in west Java is run by state oil firm Pertamina.
Authorities are investigating if torrential rains and lightning could possibly cause the fire.
