Denver, Colorado (KMGH)—Some lucky Denverites who were expecting nothing more than to buy a cup of coffee at Civic Center Eats Wednesday may have been surprised to see the man serving them.

Hugh Jackman was in Denver Wednesday for his “The Man. The Music. The Show.” concert tour. But he also served some free Laughing Man coffee as part of the Make Every Cup Count tour.

Jackman founded the Laughing Man brand—which strives to “Make Every Cup Count”—and foundation in 2011. A portion of each sale goes directly to the foundation, which supports coffee farming communities and programs that focus on sustainable health, growth and success for coffee farmers and their families.

The Make Every Cup Count tour is working in tandem with Jackman to surprise fans with the free coffee in 10 cities, based on the “The Man. The Music. The Show.” tour schedule. Laughing Man will make a donation to the foundation for every cup handed out in each city.

Hugh Jackman Reveals Why He Likes to Meditate Daily

Hugh Jackman, 50, could be the “Mr. nice guy of Hollywood.” He reveals why he likes to meditate daily.

“Everybody benefits from meditation, everyone I’ve ever met. It changed my life. It’s available to every single person, you don’t have to be talented at it. It’s literally the simplest thing on the planet. For those people who are really struggling and seeing no way out of it, it is life-changing,” he told tmhome.

Hugh loves to meditate. What do you do to unwind when you are feeling stressed?

“I’m not saying I’m never frightened anymore or that I don’t have stress, but … I like the analogy of a glass of water when you first pour it, it’s cloudy. When you’re stressed, that’s what your mind is like, it’s kinda cloudy. And after I meditate all that sinks to the bottom and the water is clear and the energy is finer, and the decisions you make are more authentic, and I think you’re more economical with your energy, with your time, in every way. You’re more able to listen to other people. And as an actor, that’s all you got. Your only tools you really have is being present, being clear, and listening. So it helped me in every way, I mean, immeasurably,” Jackman said.

Meditation

If you dismiss meditation as something new age or trendy and not for you, let us spell out the best part right at the start. Regular meditators are found to have higher levels of “Alpha brain waves,” which reduce feelings of anger, sadness, stress, and help gain a more positive outlook on life. What’s not to love about that?!

Multiple neuroscience studies have found that one’s grey matter in the brain associated with learning, memory, and emotional areas becomes denser as one practices mindfulness. It’s no wonder people have been talking about the ancient practice of meditation for eons. Many celebrities and successful people, who are continually running high on adrenaline in order to meet their back-to-back targets, know all too well the benefits of meditation. Let’s find out what some of these famous individuals from around the world have to say about meditation.
