How Satellites Can Help Rein In Threats Posed by China to the Indo-Pacific

U.S. lawmakers called on Elon Musk to open up his powerful satellite to U.S. military troops stationed in Taiwan. If he refuses, his company Starshield could be violating its contract with the Pentagon.

Meanwhile, a new floating barrier possibly set by China has been spotted at the entrance of the disputed Scarborough Shoal, preventing foreign vessels from entering.

To understand why Starshield is used in Ukraine but not Taiwan, NTD sat down with retired Marine Colonel Grant Newsham.
