How RFK Jr.’s VP Pick Shanahan Could Impact Election: Analyst

Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been on the end of some backlash, as both Democrats and Republicans have voiced their unhappiness with his pick for vice president—Silicon Valley lawyer and entrepreneur Nicole Shanahan.

NTD spoke to Mike Leon, the director of policy and strategy at the Free & Equal Elections Foundation and the host of the ‘Can We Please Talk?’ news commentary podcast. He said Ms. Shanahan could be instrumental in getting her running mate on the ballot in more states—and that their ticket could sway disillusioned voters who do not wish to vote in a straight Trump–Biden rematch.
