More than a dozen Hong Kong democracy activists were released on bail early Friday morning. They were among the 53 people arrested on Wednesday by police. Veteran democracy activist Benny Tai and former student leader Lester Shum spent one night in custody. Tai spoke with the media waiting outside the Ma On Shan police station.
