An international group of hackers is claiming credit for gaining access to live feeds of 150,000 surveillance cameras across the United States and the world. These cameras are in jails, hospitals, schools, and companies—including Tesla and software company Cloudflare—and they all come from a Silicon Valley-based security system supplier called Verkada Inc.
