GOP Message Resonates With Hispanic Business Owners

There are a lot of close midterm races to watch, and one demographic that could tip the scales is Hispanic American voters, the nation’s fastest-growing bloc. Of the nearly 8 million new voters added since 2018, 62 percent are Hispanic, according to the Pew Research Center.

Traditionally, Hispanics vote reliably Democrat. In the 2018 midterms, there was a 40-point spread separating Democrat and GOP voting. But according to the most recent Americano Media poll, that gap could be as narrow as 14 percent.

Javier Palomarez, president and CEO of the U.S. Hispanic Business Council, explains the shift and why Hispanic business owners in particular are breaking for the GOP.
