GOP: End Reliance on China for Rare Minerals

House Republicans are asking Democrats to support an amendment to their $3.5 trillion budget package. They want to end reliance on China for rare earth minerals. At the same time, the Democrats’ budget plan would increase corporate and income marginal tax rates.
