General Electric Completes Its Split Into 3 Companies

It’s the end of an era as the historic conglomerate, General Electric, has been split into three separate companies. The aerospace and energy businesses are now officially trading on the New York Stock Exchange as their own entities. GE’s healthcare entity is the third part, and began trading publicly a year ago.
