A Florida woman tried to assault a taxi driver and then appeared to attack a deputy sheriff outside Hollywood Studios. All because she couldn’t get a cigarette. She is facing criminal charges and a lifetime ban from Disney World.

53-year-old Ellen McMillion, of Brandon, was arrested Sept. 5 and charged with third-degree felony battery on a law enforcement officer and one misdemeanor count of disorderly intoxication, reported Orlando Sentinel, citing court records.

She has since been banned from all Walt Disney World properties for life.” A Disney spokeswoman said in a statement released to the news outlet, adding they “have no tolerance for violence,” at the park.

A police arrest affidavit said the incident started around 9 p.m. when McMillion asked a taxi driver for a cigarette at the front of the park. She became upset when the driver, who doesn’t smoke, told her he did not have any cigarettes. She allegedly “raised her arm above her head” to slap him. The driver blocked her multiple times.

A deputy working at Hollywood Studios noticed McMillion yelling at and trying to slap a taxi driver in the parking lot. Her struggle was also observed by a Disney security guard, who worried that the woman might pose a threat to other customers, the affidavit said.

Deputies said that when they approached McMillion, she smelled of alcohol and was slurring her words, reported Spectrum News. She told authorities multiple times that she was drunk and threw her purse on the ground when the deputy asked to see her ID. “Here,” she told him.”

McMillion was still “yelling profanities” as multiple adults and children walked by the front of the park, according to the affidavit. Police said she kicked one of the deputies on the leg “at least twice” as she was put in their patrol car.

She was booked at the Orange County Jail.

Families’ Wild Brawl at Disneyland Goes Viral

Earlier this summer a video went viral of a brawl inside California’s Disneyland. The video shows a group of adults fighting in front of kids and families, with one heavyset man repeatedly punching a woman in her face.

“I’m ready to go to jail tonight,” screamed the main attacker, dressed in a red shirt in the video that went viral shortly after being posted online on July 7.

As children can be heard screaming in horror, the fight continued for almost five minutes. The man in red walked off and came back to smack one of the women in her face repeatedly.

Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Daron Wyatt said police eventually arrived. Not realizing how brutal the fight had been, however, they made no arrests of the “uncooperative” group.

The man in red, 35-year-old Avery Desmond-Edwinn Robinson, has been charged with five felonies and nine misdemeanors, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office announced in a press release on July 23. His sister, Andrea Nicole Robinson, 40, has been charged with five misdemeanors, including four misdemeanor charges of battery.
