Co-star of the hit HGTV reality series “Flip or Flop,” Christina El Moussa, has married English television host Ant Anstead in a secret wedding.

The couple revealed details of the top-secret “winter wonderland” ceremony on Dec. 22 in Newport Beach, Calif., in an interview with People magazine.

El Moussa, 35, and Anstead, 39, have only been dating since 2017, but decided to take the plunge and tie the knot—without letting their family and friends know ahead of time.

They told 70 of their closest family and friends to come to their house on Saturday, and said that a charter bus would take everyone to the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade, reported People.

However, when guests arrived, they found an alter in the front yard, and the couple was married right then and there, with their children nearby.

“We wanted to make it about the kids,” Anstead told People. “It’s the six of us. We’re a blended family so it was really important for them to be a part of it.”

Anstead has a daughter named Amelie, 15, and a son named Archie,12, while El Moussa has a daughter Taylor, 8, and son Brayden, 3.

El Moussa said she decided to change her last name to her husband’s, Anstead, saying, “We couldn’t be any happier!” She seemed to share that happiness with her fans on social media that same day.

“Eventually you’ll end up where you need to be, with who you’re meant to be with, and doing what you should be doing,” El Moussa said in an Instagram post on the day of the wedding.

Anstead is an auto mechanic and co-host of the British television show, Wheeler Dealers, which restores old cars to their former glory on a limited budget.

He co-hosts the show with Mike Brewer, and it’s been running since 2003 on the Discovery Channel in the UK and on Motor Trend in the United States. Anstead joined the series in season 14, replacing former co-host Edd China.

El Moussa has been co-hosting the popular series “Flip or Flop” with her former husband, Tarek El Moussa, since 2013 and her term has been renewed for season eight in 2019. However, she recently signed a deal with HGTV to host her own show that premieres in 2019, Christina on the Coast, according to The Wrap.

Tarek, 37, may also discuss a potential new solo series with HGTV. The co-host is reportedly happy for his former wife, with no hard feelings about her recent wedding.

“Tarek is happy for Christina and he’s moved on,” a source told Us Weekly. “But still cares about her deeply.”

The couple split in late 2016 and issued a joint statement obtained by Us Weekly.

“Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage,” the statement read. “We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed.”

The pair confirmed they had started attending counseling and later decided to separate.

“During this process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be. We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together,” the statement said.
