At least nine major fires have sparked across China in the past three days, most of them engulfing residential buildings. In one of the most severe cases reported, a mother successfully escaped the fire with her middle-school-age child, fleeing their 20th-floor apartment. She told NTD more from the site and how she made it out of the burning building.
