LONDON—No injuries have so far been reported at a fire in east London, a London Ambulance spokesman said on June 9.

Fifteen fire engines and 100 firefighters were called to a blaze at a block of flats in east London on Sunday, the fire brigade earlier said on its Twitter feed.

“The Brigade was called at 3:31 p.m. [local time] and is still at the scene. Fire crews from Barking, Dagenham, East Ham and surrounding fire stations are at the scene,” The Mirror reported.

The building, from ground floor up to the sixth floor, are alight, the department wrote on Twitter.

A devastating video emerged on social media, obtained by @MarceVercellesi. In the video, the fire can be seen lighting up the whole building.

There were no reports of any injuries at the time of this report, according to authorities.

What has caused the blaze is not yet known, and people are being urged to avoid the area, according to The Mirror.
