FBI Asking Public’s Help Identifying Body Found on Hiking Trail

Federal authorities are asking for the public’s help in a disturbing case out of Maryland.

A woman’s dismembered body was found Saturday by hikers in Catoctin Mountain Park in Thurmont, outside of Baltimore.

According to  a news release, the woman had long, dark hair with braids, and was wearing a black track suit, wrist guard, and red Nike shoes.

It’s not clear how long the body was there, and the cause of death hasn’t yet been determined.
